Make Pen Drive bootable with Oikyo Linux (using Windows)

In this tutorial We'll learn how to make a pen drive bootable with Oikyo Linux using Windows. This will require 3 things, an ISO file of Oikyo Linux, any software to make the pen drive bootable and a pen drive (4 GB minimum). First I'll show how to do it using Windows, then we'll learn how to do it using Linux.

 

 

First we need the ISO file:

Then we need a software to make the pen drive bootable. We will be using Universal USB Installer. It can be downloaded from http://www.pendrivelinux.com/universal-usb-installer-easy-as-1-2-3/UUI-Download

 

After it's downloaded, open the .exe file. After it's open, click I Agree, Then select Try Unlisted Linux ISO which is located in the bottom of the drop down menu.other-linux

 

Then browse to the ISO file, select the pen drive, check format and click Create.

In the next dialogue box, click yes.

Now the pen drive will be bootable with Oikyo Linux 2. It'll take some time, till then, have a drink.

That's it! Now Oikyo Linux is ready to rock from your pen drive. You can have a test drive of Oikyo Linux and can install it to your computer from the pen drive.
